Generate Leads

Even though developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with your customers should be your focus, we still need to generate new leads.

One way to categorise “Leads” is the Hot/Warm/Cold method:

  1. Hot Leads – these are people who have done their research; are ready to buy; have an immediate need and have the money available to close the deal.
  2. Warm Lead – these are people who have expressed a need for the product or service you provide by actively looking around at different available solutions. They may have connected with you through Social Media (or other avenues) to request further information from you. They are not usually ready to buy.
  3. Cold Lead – these are people who are not yet looking for product or service you offer, have no prior knowledge of you, have not shown an interest or requested any information from you and have not asked you to contact them.
