Mixed Media Flowers

Sometimes, life is just about having fun!

This week was an interesting subject that took me straight back to my childhood… abstract and playing with tissue paper and paint!

Over my journey so far, I have done a number of different flowers-in-a-vase paintings. This time we worked with mixed media to create texture, so it became more abstract and was a bit of fun!

One of the key things I have learned so far is to have fun. Not everything will come out how you expect it to… sometimes it will be better, sometimes it will be worse, depending on your point of reference.

In life, we can’t always be sure of the outcome we might get, but that shouldn’t stop you from trying or having fun doing it.

In fact, what I’ve found is that whatever you do, it’s way better to have fun!

It is all too easy to be serious for too much of our time.

I believe life is meant to be enjoyed, so let’s live it!

How could you add your own ‘tissue paper and paint’ to make what you’re doing right now more fun?

Much love xx
