For the first one, we had to work with layering light washes to create the mood of the painting and then used the power of silhouette to contrast the stag against the trees fading into the misty distance.

Life can be a bit like that too.

Sometimes what we are doing and where we are going can fade into the background as we lose focus and get caught up in day-to-day life.

Yet if we want to make progress and make positive changes to our lives, we have to focus on those things which are going to have the actual impact on the changes we want to make…

… and hope just won’t cut it!

So what is the thing that, if you complete it now, is going to make the biggest difference to your life?!

Like the deer in the painting, make it your focus.

Yes, you still have to do the other ‘background’ things, but not at the expense of moving you forwards.
